Daniel Reagan Sr.

Louisville, November 08, 1915--Daniel Reagan Sr., 84, a longtime resident of the Louisville and Waddington area, died Tuesday, November 2 at 9:30 o'clock at his home in Waddington after an illness of six weeks of heart trouble. Mr. Reagan was born on December 2, 1830 in Ireland. He came to this country when seven years old, with his parents, Jeremiah and Bridget Maloney Reagan. They landed at Douglass Bay and spent some time at the William Whalen farm. They later moved to Norfolk where they made their home.


Mr. Reagan was married to Miss Bridget Kennedy on September 11, 1855 and they resided and farmed for many years in the Louisville and Waddington area. Mrs. Reagan passed away May 21, 1901.


Mr. Reagan is survived by two sons, Joseph P., Louisville, and Daniel F. Reagan living at home, and by three daughters, Anna Morgan Reagan living at home and Mrs. W.H. (Mary) Arnold, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mrs. C.J. (Elizabeth) Perusse of Batavia, Illinois.


His funeral was Thursday from St. Mary's Church, Waddington, Rev. Fr. Cahill reading the requiem mass. Burial was in Visitation Cemetery in Norfolk beside his wife.
