Massena-Funeral services for Paul Joseph Reagan, 26, of 62 Beach Street, were held at St. Mary's Church Friday morning, September 7th.
Mr. Reagan was killed in an automobile accident on the Norfolk-Madrid Highway September 3rd.
A large number of friends and neighbors called at the Phillips Memorial Home to express their deepest sympathy.
Calling in groups at the funeral home were the Massena Volunteer Fire Department, officers of the 818th Military Police Company, Louisville Fire Department, Altar and Rosary Society of Louisville, Sacred Heart League of Sacred Heart Church, men from the M. E. Avery Company.
Serving as pallbearers were Stewart Thompson, Frank Zappia, John Keeley, Sam Cabone, William Reid, Philip Austin. The honorary bearers were from the reserves, Glen Prentice, Michael Clary, Richard Finnie, John Carvel, and Gerald Patterson.
The bearers walked beside the hearse. The squad car of the Massena Volunteer Fire Department carried the great array of floral bouquets.
The Rev. Paul F. Oehler, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church, conducted the high Mass.
Surviving are the wife; the parents; two sisters, Mrs. Daniel (Elizabeth) Koch, Syracuse, and Mrs. James (Dorothy) Hayes, Jefferson Avenue; the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Condlin, Chase Mills; a great-uncle, Daniel Reagan, Norwood; two stepsons, Timmie and Donnie Watson.
