Massena----Otis J. Reagan, 68, died in Massena Memorial Hospital Friday, September 27, 1974, where he had been a patient since Monday. He had been in ill health for the past year.
Services were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church with burial in the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Louisville. Prayer services were offered at 11 a.m. Monday at the Phillips Memorial Home also.
He was born in Louisville December 27, 1905, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Hodge Reagan. He attended schools in Louisville, Brasher and Montreal and on August 14, 1933 married Florence Condlin in the St. Lawrence Church in Louisville by the Rev. John M. Bellamy. Mr. Reagan was employed at Alcoa, Massena Operations, then the Homestead Dairies and returned to Alcoa where he was employed in the potrooms, and the powerhouse up to the time when it was shut down by the plant for PASNY power. He retired in 1968.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Reagan, 29 Alvern Avenue; two daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Elizabeth) Koch, East Syracuse; and Mrs. James (Dorothy) Hayes, 1 Kennedy Crt.; a son Paul J. Reagan predeceased him. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Tim, Tammy, Tina, Tom, Todd Hayes, Ken and Bob Koch.
