Dorothy Reagan Hayes

Massena---The funeral for Dorothy Jane Hayes, 59, of 8 Kennedy Court, will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Alan D. Shnob presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Hayes died at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Nursing Home. She had been ill with leukemia.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Phillips Memorial Home, with exempt members of Massena Volunteer Fire Department meeting at 7:15 p.m. and a wake service at 8:30 p.m.

A homemaker, she was employed with Northern Travel Bureau before her marriage and worked with the Board of Elections. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of its Sacred Heart League.

Born July 8, 1938, in Ogdensburg, a daughter of Otis and Florence Condlin Reagan, she was a graduate of Madrid-Waddington Central School and Watertown School of Commerce. She married James D. Hayes on January 9, 1960, at the Church of the Sacred Heart with the Rev. Maurice O'Neil presiding.

Surviving besides her husband are her mother, Florence Reagan, Massena; three sons, Timothy and Todd Reagan, both of Massena, and Thomas Reagan, Buffalo; two daughters, Mrs. William (Tammie) O'Riley, Adams Center, and Mrs. (Tina) Ashlaw, North Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Dan (Elizabeth) Koch, East Syracuse; six grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
