Kathryn Regan Garno

Ogdensburg----A Mass of Christian burial for Kathryn M. Garno, 81, of 604 Riverview Towers, was to be said at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. John J. Cosmic officiating. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery.

Mrs. Garno died Thursday morning at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital.

Arrangements are with the McLellan Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph E., Akron, Ohio, and John R., Ogdensburg, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

A sister, Jessica Donnelly, died before her.

Born in Norwood on December 6, 1908, a daughter of Edward M. and Catherine Hurley Regan, she attended Norwood Grade School and was a 1927 graduate of St. Mary's Academy. She also attended Potsdam Normal School.

She married Joseph P. Murray in 1929. The marriage ended in divorce. She married Joseph Henry Garno on April 22, 1952. He died June 29, 1957.

Mrs. Garno was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral parish.
