Norwood--Funeral services for Kenneth King, 65, of 24 Depot St., Norwood, were held at the Buck Funeral Home, Norwood, Sunday afternoon with Rev. M. Russell Lee, pastor of the United Methodist Church, Norwood, officiating.
Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.
Mr. King, a retired Alcoa employee, died at 9 p.m. May 8, 1969, in the Massena Memorial Hospital shortly after being admitted. He had been in poor health for some time.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Doris B. King; three sons, Lloyd, at home, Bernard, Norfolk, and Richard, Parishville; three daughters, Mrs. Haig (Beverly) Avadikian, Potsdam, Mrs. Donald (Dawn) LaBarge, Norfolk, and Mrs. Dale (Rita) LaVigne, Norfolk; 22 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mr. King was born in Norfolk Feb. 27, 1904, a son of William and Goldie Narrow King. He was educated in local schools and was married to Miss Doris Bockus of Potsdam Dec. 6, 1927. The family resided in Potsdam five years before moving to Norwood 37 years ago. Mr. King was employed as a crane operator at the Massena operations of the Aluminum Company of America before his retirement in 1966.
He was a member of the Alcoa 25-Year Club.
