Marjorie E. Colbert

NORWOOD--Funeral services for Marjorie E. Colbert, 61, RD 1, Norwood, were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Daily Ridge Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jack Wells officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.

Calling hours were at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood Sunday afternoon and evening.

Mrs. Colbert died Friday (April 16, 1982) in the A. Barton Hepburn Hospital.

Surviving are her husband, Donald; four sons, Larry, Gerald, David and Donald Jr., all of Norwood; three sisters, Mrs. Marion Spernadel, Rosenburg, Texas, Mrs. Betty Sherman, Longview, Texas and Mrs. James (Jean) Harris, Rocky Ridge, Md.; a brother, Robert Daggett, Phoenix, Ariz.; and 13 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas; and a brother.

Mrs. Colbert was born Aug. 16, 1920, in Potsdam, daughter of Loren and Harriet Clute Daggett. She married Donald Colbert on Oct. 21, 1931 in Daily Ridge.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was affiliated with the Daily Ridge Presbyterian Church.
