Norwood--Funeral services for Ernest R. Casselman will be held this afternoon at 2 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clifton Trimm, Norwood. The Rev. Howard Akland, pastor of the Norwood Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Casselman died at the age of 73 on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1961 at approximately 6 a.m. in his home. He had been in failing health for about one month.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clifton (Loretta) Trimm; four sons, Leonard, Lloyd, Floyd and Ronald; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Wake and Florence Raymond all of Norwood; two brothers, James Casselman, Seattle, Wash., and Clifford Castleman, Norwood; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Casselman was born Aug. 19, 1888, in E. Williamsburg, Ont., the son of Mr. And Mrs. James and Elzy McDonald Casselman. He married Nellie Trimm in Norwood on Apr. 24, 1919. She died in 1958.
He had been employed by the St. Regis Paper Co., Norfolk, and lived in Norwood all his life. He was a veteran of World War I.
