Anna B. Weismann

NORWOOD--Anna Borrman Weismann, 84, Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Norwood, died Wednesday in VistaCare at Wesley Woods, Atlanta.

Born Sept. 10, 1921, in China, daughter of William F. and Bernice Bartlett Borrman, she spent her early childhood in China, where her father was assistant headmaster at Soochow Academy, which was run under the auspices of the American Episcopal Church. The family was forced to flee from China in 1927 and resided for many years in Norwood.

Mrs. Weismann served as a nurse in the Army during World War II and later was a nurse and nursing instructor at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.

Her husband, Robert Weismann, died before her.

Surviving are a son, Richard, Atlanta; a daughter, Anne Weismann, Bethesda, Md.; a sister, Laura Smith, Queensbury, and three grandchildren.

The body was cremated. Arrangements are with the National Cremation Society, Lilburn, Ga.
