W. N. Chapman

 

(September 23, 1864-July 1, 1932)

 

July 4--W. N. Chapman passed away July 1, at the home of his son with whom he resided. He was born in Norwood Sept. 23, 1864, moved to Brandon 36 years ago. He was a member of the M. E. Church at West Bangor for 28 years. The sympathy of all is extended to the family in their loss. He leaves surviving his wife and three children, William, of Brandon; Mrs. Sarah Hart, Gile; Mrs. Clarrissa LaPage, West Bangor. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and 2:30 o’clock at the Union church, West Bangor. Rev. B. L. Nichols pastor of the church officiated, assisted by Rev. Woodland, pastor of the Holiness church, Brandon. The people from out of town who attended the funeral are as follows: Mr. And Mrs. Fred Griffin, Utica; Mr. And Mrs. Guy Adams and son, Curtis, Ogdensburg; Mr. And Mrs. Bert Allen, Potsdam; Mrs. Clara Lyon, Malone; Mrs. Clara Spencer, Mr. And Mrs. Donald Spencer, Ellenburg Depot; Mrs. Fred Cheney, St. Regis Falls; Mr. And Mrs. Bushey, Mr. And Mrs. Elmer Fetterly, Mrs. Wilson Fetterly, Santa Clara; Mr. And Mrs. M. G. Clary, Mrs. Lula Clark, Mrs. Cora Clark, Mr. And Mrs. Herb. Far, Mrs. Eva Griffin and sons, Moira.
