Mary (Angie) Harris

NORWOOD--Funeral services for Mary (Angie) Harris, 86, of the Potsdam Nursing Home and formerly of Norwood, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. George Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood.

Calling hours will be held this evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood.

Mrs. Harris died Sunday evening (Jan. 20, 1985) at the nursing home.

Surviving are two sons, George, Norfolk, William Jr., Albany; three daughters, Mrs. George (Eleanor) DeLaire, Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. Edward (Margaret) McKenna, Ontario, N.Y., Mrs. Robert (Mary) Frost, Norwood; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

She was born in Chaumont, N.Y. on Nov. 10, 1898, daughter of Joseph and Azelia Duford Charlebois. She married William E. Harris on July 30, 1922 at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Roach officiating. Mr. Harris died Dec. 26, 1970.

She worked at the Norwood Post Office for several years.

She was a member of St. Andrew’s Church and the Catholic Daughters.
