NORFOLK--Funeral services for Laura Anne Lalonde, 75, Knapps Station Road, Norfolk, will be held Thursday (Oct. 13, 1983) at 11 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home, Norwood, with the Rev. James Brand officiating. Burial will be in the Hale Cemetery, Norfolk.
Calling hours will be today (Tuesday) from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lalonde died Monday (Oct. 10, 1983) at the Vermont Medical Center, Burlington, Vt., where she had been a patient since Oct. 4.
Surviving are three sons, William Lalonde, Norfolk, Albert Lalonde, Essex Junction, Vt. And Edward Trumble, Cornwall, Ont.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. John (Isabelle) Gillespie of Toledo, Ohio; two brothers, Arthur Travis of Euclid, Ohio and Charles Travis of East Lake, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Kotnick, Mrs. Ada Moorefield and Mrs. John (Lillian) North, all of Euclid, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. She is predeceased by one brother, Gordon and one sister, Beasey.
Mrs. Lalonde was born in Kinsman, Ohio on April 13, 1908, daughter of Charles and Carrie Mae Lewis Travis.
She married Edward Trumble, Sr. and later was married to Alexander J. Lalonde. Mr. Lalonde died in September of 1968.
Mrs. Lalonde was a licensed practical nurse, working for several years at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. She retired in 1963.
She was a member of the Retired Nurses Association and the United Methodist Church, Norfolk.
