Rites Held For Woman Who Died After Birth of Son

Norfolk--The funeral of Mrs. Grace Castle Butler, 44, of Norfolk, who died Wednesday afternoon, June 4, was held from the Church of Visitation, Norfolk, Friday. Burial was in the Norfolk Catholic cemetery.

Mrs. Butler was born in Potsdam, Jan. 22, 1897, a daughter of James and the late Mary Jane Castle. She came to Norfolk with her parents at an early age. In June, 1918, she was married to Leon Butler, a native of Brasher Falls, and the couple had made their home in Norfolk since that time. Mr. Butler is in the plumbing and heating business.

Mrs. Butler is survived by her husband, and infant son, James, born Wednesday morning; four daughters, Mrs. Vernon Richards, Mrs. William LaPlonte, Helene and Joan, and one other son, John all of Norfolk. Also, one grandson, John Richards, her father, James Castle, four sisters, Mrs. William Tyo, Mrs. Hermie Shantie, Mrs. Clyde Talcott, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. Lawrence Herse of Adams, and one brother, Francis Castle of Pine Camp; also several nieces and nephews.
