The remains of Mrs. James Welt of Louisville were brought here on Wednesday and placed in the Richardson cemetery. She was a sister of Mrs. John Malotte of this place.

Mrs. Henry Babcock died Friday at Massena, aged 85 years. She was a former resident of this town and mother of Assemblyman B. A. Babcock, of this place and Allen Babcock, Mrs. Lamping and Mrs. Butler of Massena. She died at her daughter's Mrs. Butler, of old age, Just a general wearing out, no pain, no ache and with only pleasant memories to dwell upon. Her funeral was held in Massena and her remains brought here and placed beside her husband in the Richardson cemetery.
The Ogdensburg Advance - Thursday March 26, 1903
Harlow Wright died Saturday at twelve o'clock of a complication of diseases: He was born at Brasher Center, June 30th, 1839, a son of Ira and Jerusha Hillyard Wright. He was a soldier in the civil war, having enlisted in Company M, 6th N. Y. Heavy artillery in December, 1863, serving two years. He was at the battle of the wilderness and in front of Petersburg under Sheridan in the Shenadoah. He was stricken with fever and ague from which he never recovered. He married Hortensia Curtis, July 3rd, 1869. They had one son who died at the age of eight years. He was a brother of Mrs. B. P. Clark of this place. He was a good, upright honorable man, esteemed by all. He was a stage driver for sometime between here and Helena before the route was discontinued. His funeral was held at his residence on Sunday at 2 o'clock, Reverend Williams officiating; interment in the Richardson cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. James McCauley was held on Saturday; interment in the Richardson cemetery. She was a very good woman and highly esteemed. Left to mourn her loss are her husband and one son, besides several relatives.
